Eggnoid

Hey guys, this is a review for a ongoing webtoon called "Eggnoid" by Archie the red cat, which currently has 74 episodes and counting; it updates every Monday, Saturday and Sunday. It is under the romance genre of webtoon and it doesn't miss a minute to make my heart skip a beat. Imagine, a huge egg appears in your room and out comes a handsome boy or girl who starts calling you daddy or mommy, a bit on the weird side huh? Yet this is what happens to a teenager that lives alone called Ran and what does she do? She names him Eggy and lets him stay with her for the time being, while she tries to figure out what or where he comes from. The eggnoid or Eggy as she calls him looks about the same age as her but has child like personalities, like calling himself in the third person, not knowing how to put on clothes and the innocent way he thinks at times. Eggy has rapidly made his way into many fan girl hearts (me being one of them), but like all webtoons it's not going to be that simple.... boy meets girl... girl likes boy... boy feels the same way even though he landed from  a space egg and happily ever after. Instead there is drama, both normal high school bullying and jealousy but also along the road of discovering where Eggy came from and Ran's past. This webtoon shows people's personalities and ways in which they think so to speak, from Eggy's naive way of thinking and more or less accepting what everyone tells him when he considers them a friend to Ran's role model behavior and kind of holding Eggy to that standard. Or Ran not wanting to be a burden on people she cares about or not making the same mistake twice, yet she finds a connection to Eggy. The art is absolutely fantastic, the colours are warm and the background details are perfectly on point. it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling from romance mangas that I get some times at love scenes. You can clearly see the effort the author puts in place in terms of quality. This is my opinion however and if anyone would like to see for yourself then please check out Eggnoid for yourself and judge, hopefully you love it as much as I do.
